I don't think it matters a bit whether you pay or not, some people will always post innacurate or misleading profiles.I have used oasisactive for a few months and found it just fine.It used to be slow loading the messages bit, but havn't had any problems recently I tried Oasis for a while , I never got genuine responses it's probably because I'm a guy that's only average looking. The problem with most free sites is that, registration is too easy -username, password & check some boxes, so you end up with a lot of messages from clowns & scammers, you know "the babes that look too good to be true", and probably some kids under age because the only requirement is basically "click here if you are over 18" Let's face it the sole purpose of a free dating site is not about dating, but to get you to click their ads because that's how they make their money.
It doesn't matter if you're looking for Speed Dating in Denver, or just plain old fashioned Singles Dining - Singles Dance or Singles Social Events... You might even find organizations for Christian Singles, Jewish Singles, and Mature Singles... When you think about it it makes sense, What would women think about you if you where too cheap to fork out a few shillings to meet them, they simply wouldn't think much of you at all.To me Oasis wasn't free, because my time is valuable, and I'd rather spend it meeting someone over coffee at a cafe than waste my time reading thru useless messages.Where are you my taller, older green-eyed lass with black hair? strange women on there, even the ones who Id consider 5s and 6s show no love lolol....RSVP banned me for some reason and all I did was make an account.Plenty Of Fish, also free, was interesting for a while but no fish were suitable there for me. Of course that has little bearing on the profiles themselves. On top of that, you aren't told who *is* a paying member and who isn't.
